Write the damn book.

Take your book from dream to done with personal book coaching with Rebecca Eckler and the RE:BOOKS editorial team—whether you’re just starting out or are preparing to publish.

97% of people who begin writing a book never finish.

We won’t sugarcoat it: writing a book is hard.

It takes commitment. It takes skill. And it requires you to keep writing, no matter what the world throws at you. Luckily, the team at RE:BOOKS can help you with that.

If you’re a new or aspiring author, you’re in the right place. There are no dumb questions here. Should I write this book? How long will it take me to finish? WTF is a substantive edit? What does a publisher do exactly? How can I get traditionally published without an agent?

The all-female team at RE:BOOKS walks you through the process, and gives you candid answers to your questions—no judgement here.

You don’t have to do it alone.

Imagine having a team of personal champions who are as invested in the success of your book as you are—who can help you master your voice, cut through the noise, and captivate readers.

What if you had a 10x published author guide you through every stretch of writer’s block, every breakdown, and every question on the way to becoming a published author?

So you can finish your book, share your experience, and finally add “published author” to your credentials.

How it Works

  • In your first session, you’ll get the chance to have a 60-minute session with RE:BOOKS Managing and Acquiring Editor Chloe Robinson. This initial call is helpful—especially for those who have no clue where to start, or publishing lingo. Chloe can hear your idea, walk you through the entire publishing process, the different roles and the numerous people who work behind the scenes, and you can ask any other questions you have. No question is a silly one. We’ve heard them all!

  • The next step in this package is a one-on-one 60-minute chat with RE:BOOKS publisher Rebecca Eckler, who you can ask about how we acquire books and how our modern business model works. You can also go over your book with her and she can give you her own pointers and tips. Plus, after writing ten books, she understands the mind of authors!

  • Our coaching package also includes an official editorial assessment created by a member of our editorial team, where we will provide you with honest feedback on your manuscript. Our report will cover key components including notes on the structure, style, dialogue, pacing, and setting of your book. Additionally, we'll offer suggestions for improvement and help you refine your manuscript to make it the best it can be. We'll assist you in crafting a compelling title and provide guidance on navigating the complex world of publishing to reach your target audience effectively. We'll also include a short and marketable synopsis to highlight the essence of your story, enticing readers and agents alike.

  • For an extra fee, you have options for the following:

    • Our in-house designer can design two mock up front covers for you!

    • Follow-up call with the Rebecca, Chloe, or the editor who completed your editorial assessment

    • Continue coaching with bi-weekly check-ins (minimum 6 month commitment)

No book snobs allowed.

Bring your unfinished or rejected manuscript, and we’ll get you back on track to becoming a published author.

  • We suggest you try asking yourself a different question. What are your expectations? Fame? Give it a go. Family? Give it a go. You always wanted to give it a try, but never had time, and now you do? No answer is a wrong answer, but you’ve got to be specific. But to reiterate—if you’re even thinking about it, then yes, you should, or you’re going to question yourself forever!

As your book coach, Rebecca will help you start the journey, hold you accountable to finishing your book, and get you into the rhythm of writing. Everyone has a story in them, and we’d love to help you share yours.

  • Of course you’ll be successful, you finished a book! That is a MASSIVE accomplishment!

Ultimately, everyone’s definition of success is different, and a large part of it depends on the work you’re willing to put into it. Do you work full-time? Part-time? When would you write? Will you commit to finishing? We’re here to help you fulfill your dream, but we work as a team—all we ask is that you don’t waste your time, and don’t waste ours either.

P.S. It’s worth noting that some publishing companies, including RE:BOOKS, also do vanity books. Reach out for more information.

  • Where are you in your manuscript? Is it just beginning right now? Have you finished the first draft? Honesty is important, and how long it takes will depend on the time you can commit. Everyone writes at different paces, and coaching will ensure you keep up the momentum you’re committed to.

Regardless of where you’re starting, you can expect substantial, accelerated progress on your book over our six months working together.

  • Rebecca believed my story could become a book, and has been my cheerleader, promoting my book at any opportunity.
